One Sample, Thai Iced Tea, and a horrid Strawberry Popsicle

One Sample: Kashi: Tasty little Cookies -- Oatmeal Dark ChocolateThe packaging.

I generally do not enjoy packaged cookies, because they are often too sweet to me. But WOW. These are good! They don't taste as processed as other cookies and they are soft and chewy. The best part: it's not sugar overkill. The chocolate chips give the cookies just enough sweetness. In addition, the cookies contains 3 grams of fiber and it is all natural. Yums for a "healthy" cookie.

Slushy Thai Iced Tea
Slushy form of Thai Iced Tea.

I realize that picture of Thai Iced Tea does not resemble the drink at all except for the color. After my first class this morning, I needed a caffeine fix. I had thai tea leaves and condensed milk in the fridge. I boiled water, soaked the tea in the water, and a generous spoonful of condensed milk to give some sweetness and creaminess. I was about to pour myself a glass of Thai Iced tea when I realized that I had NO ICE!!! =( Yes, I had a sad pouty face.

Suddenly, I had this brilliant plan of putting the Thai Iced Tea in the freezer to facilitate the cooling process. Silly me. I fell asleep for about 2 hours. My Thai Iced Tea became frozen so I had to let it melt and mash it with a spoon. Ta-daaa! My delicious Thai Iced Tea transformed into SLUSHY Thai Iced Tea! Taste wise, it was normal. Nothing awkward or strange...just a different form. Will I do this again? Yup, except I will make sure to stay awake so the tea won't be completely frozen.

The Awful Strawberry Melona Bar

Picture of Melona from samsclub.com

One word: Gross.
Description of the taste and texture: Imagine a strawberry pocky. Good. Now imagine the creamy artificially flavored strawberry coating. Good. That's exactly what the strawberry melona bar tasted like. It was a disgusting artificially flavored strawberry popsicle. It was creamy and and overly sweet. I would not buy it again even if it cost .01 cents!
